August 2026, version 1.8

Maitri Kids now celebrates festivals alongside the deity stories, and Raksha Bandhan is the first one. It is free for every family. Your toddler adds three shiny decorations to a rakhi, ties it gently on a wrist, and shares a plate of sweets, and the day closes with a warm reminder to love and care for each other. We also refreshed the app under the hood, and the guiding voice now pauses the moment your toddler begins to play, so the instructions never talk over them.

August 2026, version 1.7

Saraswati, the goddess of learning, joins Ganesha, Krishna, and Hanuman. Her first story, Saraswati’s Morning Melody, is free for every family. Your toddler wakes the sleepy strings of her veena, follows her glowing morning song one note at a time, and then carries the music to every flower until the whole garden blooms. We also recorded all of the English narration again with a warmer voice, and fixed the small audio gaps some families heard between scenes.

July 2026, Hanuman’s first story

Hanuman’s Forest Adventure is free for every family. Your toddler shares bananas with a hungry monkey, lifts a baby bird back to its nest, and builds a bridge of logs so a bunny can cross the stream. All three forest games were painted with brighter artwork.

The characters came alive in this update. They blink, breathe, and sway while your toddler plays, and every win ends with a burst of confetti. Krishna’s butter churn feels real now. The pot pushes back, the phone hums softly in your hands, and you can hear the milk thicken with every stroke.

July 2026, version 1.4

Krishna and the Butter Surprise joined the app. Friends stack into a pyramid to reach the butter pot, churn it together, and share every spoonful with the herd. The first game is free to try, and the rest opens with Maitri Plus. This update also added Ganesha’s Family, a bedtime picture book about Mama Parvati, Papa Shiva, and big brother Kartikeya. Everything new comes with full English and Hindi narration.

June 2026, version 1.2

Ganesha’s Garden of Friends opened with Maitri Plus. Your toddler brings rain to a wilted flower, guides a lost bee home, and hands each hungry friend the right treat. A Baby Ganesha puzzle now sits between the stories. This update also introduced Maitri Plus itself, a monthly or yearly subscription with a free trial of seven days that only an adult can start. Your child’s progress began following you across devices too.

May 2026, version 1.1

Every story can now be heard in Hindi as well as English. Parents got a PIN lock for adult areas, daily screen time limits, a mute switch on every screen, and a Help and FAQ section.

Maitri Kids launched on the App Store and Google Play with its first story, Ganesha and the Little Obstacles. Your toddler clears the rocky path, finds the hidden modaks, and breathes through the Windy Bridge. The whole story is free.
