What ages is Maitri Kids for?

Maitri Kids is designed for children ages 2 to 5. Each story lasts about 5 to 10 minutes, no reading is required, and the narration is warm and gentle so toddlers can follow along comfortably.

Does the app show ads or ask my child to buy things?

No. Maitri Kids has no ads, no trackers, and never asks your child to buy anything during gameplay. The first story is free. Additional stories may be unlocked through a subscription purchased only by an adult from the App Store or Google Play.

How much does Maitri Plus cost?

Maitri Plus is $4.99 USD per month or $39.99 USD per year, which saves about a third compared with paying monthly. Both plans begin with a free trial of seven days, and the first story is always free without any subscription. Prices are the same in every country where Maitri Kids is available, and the store shows the final price before you confirm.

How does the free trial work?

Both plans start with a free trial of seven days. If you do not cancel during the trial, the subscription begins automatically when the trial ends and your account is charged for the plan you chose. You can turn off the trial at any time before it ends from your App Store or Google Play settings, and you will not be charged.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel at any time. On an iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose Maitri Kids, then cancel. On Android, open the Google Play Store, tap your profile, tap Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, choose Maitri Kids, then cancel. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Can I get a refund?

Because the App Store and Google Play handle the payment, they also handle refunds under their own policies. For the App Store, request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play, request it from your subscriptions page at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. If you are not sure how to proceed, email us at hello@maitrikids.com and we will help.

Does my child need to sign up or enter any information?

No. Your child is never asked for a name, an email address, or a password. The app signs your child in anonymously, so progress can be saved without collecting any personal information about the child. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.

How do I delete my child's data?

If you created an optional parent account inside the app, email us at hello@maitrikids.com from the parent address on file, and we will delete your child's progress on request. If you only ever used the anonymous account, deleting the app from the device severs the only link to that stored record.

Is the app available offline?

Yes. Stories and audio are bundled with the app, so your child can play without an internet connection. Progress syncs the next time you are online.

Reporting a concern

If you believe any content in the app is culturally insensitive, unsafe for children, or otherwise concerning, please write to us and tell us the specific story and screen. We take every report seriously and respond personally.
